Pupils from years 7 and 8 have been receiving cricket coaching in conjunction with Yorkshire Cricket Board. Matthew Hurren, who is the community cricket coach for Scarborough and district, has been introducing the basic skills of bowling, batting and fielding to the pupils. The aim is to build upon these skills over the coming weeks in preparation for the summer term and the cricket season.
