We invite you to enter a creative competition and write a poem about the meaning of Christmas.

Your poem must be connected to the theme of Christmas in some way, but you can be imaginative about this. You could write about the season in any way you like, whether you capture the moment you put up the Christmas tree, or whether you write a Christmas poem pretending to be a soldier who is missing home.

  • Try to capture the magic of Christmas in some way!
  • 20 lines maximum.
  • Deadline Monday 3rd (submit to Mrs Park)
  • The winner’s poem will feature in the Christmas Carol Service at St Stephen’s Church at the end of term and receive an Amazon voucher.
  • It can be written in any form—it doesn’t have to rhyme!
