Year 11 went on a business studies trip, to investigate a local business for their controlled assessment work as part of their GCSE. Looking smart and professional Julian, Gloria, Jack and Hanna were ready to interview Mrs Watson, the owner of the Moon & Sixpence in Whitby. After nearly an hour of questioning and getting an overall impression of the business, the group set off to launch their questionnaires on the general public. Ever polite, the students tried to investigate preferences and rankings of restaurants in Whitby and managed to interview around 40 people. However, due to the cold weather and the extreme hard work the group had done, a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was the much awaited tasty treat to end the morning.
