As part of a community service project, the whole of the school took part in 2 ‘beach sweeps’ down at Robin Hood’s Bay. The pupils enjoyed the film ‘A Plastic Ocean’ before we ventured down to the beach looking for the rubbish we saw feature in the documentary. Thank you to Scarborough Council and Whitby Beach Sweep for the loan of the litter pickers and gloves!
