It’s all change in the Drama and Music departments this week with a revamp of the Barn Theatre space. Students and staff are all excited for the new space, which will be unveiled in two nights of music and drama on the 19th and 20th of June. Students will perform music and drama extracts on the 19th and on the 20th we will be joined by special guests Jessica Wright, Bob Butterfield and Paul Tilley amongst others.
Students are incredibly grateful to the PTA who have made a whole host of changes possible. The new barn will include:
• new flooring and carpeting
• a new heating system
• new lighting throughout
• replacement and painting of stage flats
• new wooden stain for a more professional looking space
• new painted beams and walls.
We all wait with baited breath to see the changes but in the meantime here are some photos of the ongoing progress in the Barn.
