We’ve been hearing about what the pupils have been doing away from
their screens, but wonder what our teachers have been doing to escape
the ubiquitous Zoom lessons…

Mr Cross is a huge Bach fan, and decided to re-arrange Bach’s Andante in
F major for the organ. Not only did he transcribe the piece – it was
originally composed for violin –  but he also decided to learn to play
it himself and then record it!

Miss Stewart has been listening to the Morgan James cover of Duke
Ellington’s “Don’t get around much anymore”, and came up with her own
version, accompanied by her friend John P Taylor of Mirage Recording
Studios
.

Some fabulous time away from their screens, I am sure you will agree!
