On Sunday 19th an exciting concert took place for the second time in two years. There was a very welcoming and familiar atmosphere, most of the families sat on the grass and brought picnics and food to eat while they listened to the lovely music.
Around 230 people came to enjoy our garden and listen to some wonderful music, and we were quite lucky that the weather accompanied the concert (at least until the very end of it!). We were also lucky enough to have Falling Foss sell some of their lovely cakes during the concert.
One of the things that captured people’s attention was the variety of the musicians; we had some formers students such as George Husband and Helena Johnson, some musicians from other cities and as well as professional musicians.
The money raised will be donated to The North Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Thank you to Mrs Wormald and the other members of staff for organising such a wonderful event.
