Fyling Hall’s Head of Sixth Form, Ms Jane Michell, gives a special welcome to our Sixth Formers.  The 2020-21 academic year starts on Monday, 7th September, and there has never been a better time to be part of Fyling Hall School’s Sixth Form.

To all prospective Year 12 students

Firstly, congratulations on achieving a fantastic set of GCSE results. You worked very hard and should be proud of your success. You have had an enforced and extended break from studying and I am sure you are bursting to get back to your books and your friends. Be assured that all the staff and Year 13s are looking forward to welcoming you into the 6th Form as you embark on the next stage of your education studying the subjects you have chosen.

Expect to have a full and challenging timetable with many opportunities to extend your academic knowledge and personal skills in preparation for life after Fyling Hall.

So, get your pencils sharpened and your calculators dusted off and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday, 7th September.

our motto - Y11, 12 and 13s

Welcome back to Year 13

I hope you have all enjoyed a well-earned break from your studies and filled your time with fun and relaxing activities.

All the staff are looking forward to welcoming you back into school on Monday 7th September. We have a great group of Year 12 students joining us and I am sure you will make them feel welcome and help them to settle in quickly.

In the last two weeks your thoughts should be turning to your schoolwork and doing some preparation to get yourself back up to speed for an efficient start to the year. You will have a busy term ahead with academic studies, applying for courses next year and your 6th Form duties as well, of course, as catching up with your friends.

Thank you, Ms Mitchell, for your special welcome to our Sixth Formers!
