What a fantastic Halloween event!  Students came suitably dressed for the occasion with generous donations in hand.  Later in the afternoon, pumpkins were carved, mummies made and all took part in a virtual quiz officiated by our Head Boy, Archie.

Many thanks to (Ms Mitchell) and the Sixth Form, we all had a good time staff, students and pupils. We needed a bit of a cheer up after this busy half term!

Please pass on my (our) gratitude to the Sixth Form – they did a fantastic job. It was a great way to end yesterday.

It truly was a concerted effort by our Sixth Form all in an effort to raise much needed funds and raise awareness for Anthony Nolan’s Hero Project.  As you know, this programme and others like it has never been so apparent than it is to our community now.  Head Girl, Phoebe, commented

We created a fun event in which everyone could get involved. It was different from previous years given the restrictions, but we’re proud of our successful event for a good cause.

The Sixth Form are delighted with the over £260 raised on the day.  Further fundraising events are planned when the Autumn Term resumes, and prizes for the quiz, mummy and pumpkin carving will be announced on the first Tuesday back after half-term.

Although a little bit different to our usual Halloween festivities, it was a great way to end the term, and a fantastic Halloween event!
