Our Fyling Hall community have filled and packaged 56 shoe boxes in aid of The Samaritan’s ‘Operation Christmas Child’. The boxes will be sent to vulnerable children all over the world, in order to bring them some hope and happiness at Christmas time. Our tutor groups worked together to pack the boxes full of goodies and to wrap them in time for the church service on Sunday, where our boarders presented the boxes to the Fylingthorpe community who have also collected over 100 boxes of their own.
Our pupils have taken part in an activity which will hopefully provide a little light in a world that can often seem full of darkness, and we are very proud of our children’s contributions. Thank you to all who donated both time and money to the cause.
