The Great North Air Ambulance came to visit us this week to collect a cheque for £1500 that was raised at the Rose Garden Music Festival in the summer. Pupils involved in the event along with head of music, Mrs Wormald, were happy to hand over the cheque to such a worthy cause. The event is becoming a popular annual tradition at the school. The top quality live music, the beautiful lawns, the picnic blankets and Pimms and the breath-taking scenery make this event one for the calendar. We are already booking bands for the next one!
